LEVI STRAUSS & CO. SUPPLIER DIVERSITY PROGRAM

Levi Strauss & Co.’s (LS&CO.) progressive and inclusive business practices extend more than a century into our company’s history. The company has long valued diversity among all of its stakeholders.

Our supplier diversity program is designed to support U.S. supply purchases from minority- and women-owned businesses. We believe that a commitment to developing and protecting the diversity of our supplier base ensures that our procurement policies align with our corporate values, further our commitment to solid corporate citizenship and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders who also value diversity.

How the Program works

LS&CO. registers suppliers that are certified as:

1) a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) by the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC); and/or

2) a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).

3) a lesbian, gay, bisexual and/or transgender (LGBT)-owned business enterprise by the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce.

Prospective diverse suppliers should obtain certification from at least one of the certifying entities listed above. Suppliers seeking consideration under LS&CO.’s Supplier Diversity Program will be asked to submit a copy of their minority status certification as part of the registration process.

Registration is not an offer to contract.

Upon registration with LS&CO., a qualifying supplier will be entered into the company database accessible by all internal business managers and buyers.

Register

If you are already registered and need to update your information, please use the link below to log-in to the database, which is hosted by Diversity Information Resources (DIR).

Log-in

For technical support when registering or logging in as a registered supplier, please contact Supplier Gateway at 310-868-1464.

The LS&CO. Procurement Services Department will help to ensure that registered MBEs and WBEs are considered for participation in relevant RFP (Request for Proposal) processes. Invitation to participate in RFPs will also be based on whether the diverse supplier meets other important requirements such as ability to process a minimum volume, geographical considerations, etc.
