Hilary K. Krane is General Counsel and Senior Vice President for Corporate Affairs at Levi Strauss & Co. (LS&Co.). She is responsible for LS&Co.'s legal affairs and oversees the company's global Brand Protection Department. In her role as Senior Vice President for Corporate Affairs, Krane leads the Corporate Communications, Government Affairs and Corporate Citizenship functions of the company, including the Levi Strauss Foundation

Krane is a member of the Worldwide Leadership Team (WLT), an executive forum of the company's senior-most management.

Prior to joining LS&Co. in January 2006, Krane was a partner and assistant general counsel at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC). Before arriving at PwC in 1996, Krane spent four years as a litigation associate at the law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom, and one year as a law clerk for United States District Judge Milton I. Shadur.

Krane earned her bachelor's degree at Stanford University in 1986 and her law degree from the University of Chicago in 1989.
