My current favorite jeans are a pair of Levi’s® Made & Crafted™ that I’ve had only a few months. They fit perfectly. And as long as I can refrain from the Halloween candy that has somehow shown up in the office in the month of May, I hope to wear them for a long, long time.

As we wrap up our week marking the 140th birthday of the blue jean – our Levi’s® 501® jean, by the way – we thought we’d call your attention to a post by the Canadian site, The Loop. The folks there decided to celebrate by putting together what they think are the most iconic Levi’s® ads of all time.Check ‘em out here.

Everywhere I've gone on this 501® jeans anniversary road show, I’ve worked with wonderful Levi Strauss & Co. colleagues. Amsterdam was no exception. Since this was my first visit there, being able to see it through the eyes of our team members made it doubly rewarding.

This’ll be quick. Just couldn’t help but notice -- and share -- that Prince Harry was wearing Dockers® Alpha Khakis while visiting New Jersey this week. In the picture above, he's seen with the state's governor, Chris Christie. Not to call too much attention to the Prince's bum, but that’s where you’ll find the brand’s orange wing-and-anchor logo.

On the court, he’s known as a point guard who constantly attacks the basket. Off it, Russell Westbrook makes style points. Like it or not, his approach to fashion makes a statement. We like it.Former NBA star Walt “Clyde” Frazier has long turned a few heads himself with his off-court dress. So it makes sense that the Levi’s® brand and ESPN would pair the two to talk style points.I think most folks will like the way Westbrook wears his Levi’s® 501s® in Mineral Red. Reaction may be mixed to Frazier’s cow suit.

For 140 years, the Levi’s® brand has made its 501® jean with the same care, craftsmanship and attention to detail. To that, they’ve added recycled plastic. The Levi’s® 501® Waste<Less™ jean is limited-edition and made exclusively for EKOCYCLE™. That’s the social movement founded by legendary musician and producer will.i.am in partnership with Coca-Cola.Each 501® Waste<Less™ jean is made with 29% post-consumer recycled content, using an average of eight recycled plastic bottles.

Sometimes life completely exceeds your expectations. That’s how I feel at the culmination of our first designer-in-residence program with the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD).

In my book, few things are as cool as an Airstream travel trailer. The smooth, curving sheets of aluminum, riveted together and gliding down the open road to the next big adventure. Maybe at the Grand Canyon. Or a deserted Gulf Coast beach. Or Philadelphia.Philly?Yes, Philadelphia – the City of Brotherly Love. Home of the Liberty Bell. And this weekend, the place where a specially outfitted Airstream will house even more American cool…in the form of Dockers® khakis.

Cyclist or not, if you've discovered the Levi's® Commuter collection, you know it's pretty impressive. The collection is now back for a new season. And it features, among other products, new cargo pants and shorts. You'll also find a variety of colors and washes. Most importantly, the Commuter still features the fabric performance details you've come to expect -- including water resistance, reflectivity, moisture wicking and just enough stretch to make all your urban commutes a lot more comfortable.Enough with the words. These pictures speak for themselves.

Esquire has always been one of my favorite magazines. I started reading it in college – too long ago to think about – and now subscribe on my iPad. Clearly, Esquire has evolved and stands the test of time.Same could be said, I think, of Levi’s®. And I was happy to see two of the brand’s products on Esquire’s online Shopping Guide feature, The Best Jean Jackets for Spring.
