Levi’s® Skateboarding Ramps Up New Offerings for Fall

That new Levi’s® Skateboarding lineup coming out this fall? It’s infused with more than 100 years of workwear design expertise and a military aesthetic to take it to the next level.
Rooted in the local aesthetic and vibe of the San Francisco Bay Area, the hometown of Levi’s®, the Levi’s® Skateboarding design team also looked to the work of the 20th Century Army Corps of Engineers to develop the new fall line. The Corps was known for creating engineering solutions while donning garments that needed to be simple, durable and offer great mobility. Those same attributes perfectly apply to the needs of today’s skateboarder.
The innovations will come in the form of familiar favorites with new material and color twists. The popular Cargo Pant returns in a classic corduroy, ideal for fall and woven with an innovative material that offers comfort and durability skaters have come to love. The Football T is back in black and forest green. The Fleece Crew Neck Sweatshirt, a staple since the line’s inception, debuts a forest green option and the Classic Work Shirt now comes in chambray.
Another tried-and-true returning staple is the Work Pant, made of top quality materials that can withstand the toughest wear and tear that skaters endure.
New to the collection is the Fleece Zip Hoodie that comes with a full-length zipper, and the true standout for the season is the Field Jacket, which epitomizes the blend of work-wear fabrication and military styling.
The durable, high-performance pieces are perfect for layering, and mixing and matching, making it apparel that die-hard skaters and Levi’s® fans alike will flip for.
Levi’s® ambassadors and skateboarding pros Marius Syvanen, Josh Matthews, Al Partanen, Dan Plunkett, Pat Moran and Joey Pepper put the new collection to the test during a recent trip to Puerto Peñasco, Mexico, where they helped skaters in this small coastal city build a world-class skate park.
