TAKING PRIDE IN THE WAY WE DO BUSINESS

Here at Levi Strauss & Co., we know that profitability doesn’t have to come at the expense of ethical responsibility. That’s why we’re proud to be recognized once again by the Ethisphere Institute as one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies.

The list honors corporations around the world that have demonstrated integrity and ethical leadership in their business practices, both in their corporate environment and in their responsibility to the world at large.

“A key tenet of those recognized as among the World’s Most Ethical Companies is holding influence in their respective industries and setting an example in order to positively impact business,” Ethisphere wrote. “Consequently, it is no surprise that companies recognized as Honorees tend to be broadly recognized as leaders in their respective spaces.”

LS&Co. is one of 124 companies to be honored this year – our fourth year on the list – representing 52 industries spread across 19 countries.

The values that Levi Strauss built into the bedrock of our company continues to guide how we treat our employees, our communities and our consumers. From being one of the first to integrate our factories, to setting the global standard for a workplace code of conduct, to prioritizing sustainability with increasingly rigorous environmental standards for the way we make our clothes, we live those values every day.

We will continue to demonstrate that sustainable and ethical business practices shouldn’t be an afterthought, but rather at the heart of everything we do.
