The Levi’s® Trucker jacket has long been the kind of style staple that wears AND travels well.
In honor of last year’s 50th Anniversary of the Type III Trucker, our store teams culled 34 jackets – along with two pairs of Dockers® Alpha Khakis “traveling pants” – to hit the road. The jackets stopped by Levi’s® stores across the United States, Canada, Mexico and Brazil. Store teams were encouraged to deconstruct, pin, patch or paint those truckers to add their own individual flare accentuating their respective store, city or district, then send it along to its next destination. They were encouraged to share their personal photos or stories of the trucker’s journey along the way.
Within a few months, the jackets had traveled more than 14,000 miles, making 265 store visits to four countries. This month they will make their way to their final destination – our Field Leadership Conference in Las Vegas.
