As corporations face ever more scrutiny in an atmosphere where any misstep can tarnish an organization, reputation really is everything.
That’s why we’re especially proud to be recognized among the World’s Most Reputable Companies of 2019 by the Reputation Institute’s Global RepTrak 100, an annual study of corporate reputation. Forbes spotlighted this year’s list where Levi Strauss & Co. ranked #13 out of 100 companies.
To determine the list, RI surveyed more than 230,000 individuals in 15 countries from January to February 2019. Companies considered typically have revenue in excess of $50 billion, a presence in all surveyed countries and brand familiarity with at least 40 percent of the general population.
Rankings show that businesses that are able to prove they are genuine about doing right are more likely to be seen as reputable over businesses that more ambiguous on where they stand.
The ranking is the latest recognition for LS&Co., which was recently honored with Gallup’s Great Workplace Award and once again scored a perfect 100 on the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index. And earlier this year, the company was named to Forbes “Best Employers for Diversity” list.
