Levi Strauss & Co.’s annual day of giving back, known as Community Day, has come a long way since its inception 19 years ago.
Each year, employees take one day to volunteer with local organizations in the communities where we live and work. The global day of giving honors the legacy of Levi Strauss, who incorporated community engagement into the bedrock of the company when he founded it more than 150 years ago.
