We have a long history of responding to the issues of our time and stepping up for the communities where we work and live. Levi Strauss & Co. brands are finding ways to engage consumers by supporting organizations they care about and providing easy ways for consumers to also give back.

Both the Levi’s® and Dockers® brands are now offering Donation at Checkout – the capability for consumers to round up their online purchases to donate the remaining money to selected nonprofit organizations.

Donation at Checkout was initially conceived by a volunteer group of self-driven employees who believed in the power of donation and the value our platforms could provide. “The [Donation at Checkout] feature is yet another example to further strengthen our communities and nurture humanity,” said Puja Agrawal, director of product management. She added that there are now plans to explore similar opportunities.

Levi’s® x MusiCares

The Levi’s® brand is currently supporting MusiCares, which helps music professionals whose lives have been upended by the pandemic, including artists, production crews, and technicians.

The organization makes for a perfect fit for a brand known for its deep ties to the music community and a long history of supporting artists with original voices. It’s also a nice continuation of the support the brand provided through its “5:01 Live” music series – Levi’s® is donating $500,000 to the creative community in response to COVID-19.

“This community of artists has brought us so much joy, so many unforgettable moments,” Levi’s® CMO Jen Sey said. “We simply want to pay it back by supporting them through this time.”

Dockers® x Opportunity Fund

The Dockers® brand is partnering with Opportunity Fund to support the organization’s Small Business Relief Fund which aims to raise support for small businesses impacted by the COVID-19 crisis — especially those run by women, people of color and immigrants. The fund provides relief to struggling self-employed and small business owners.

“We need to help our small businesses survive this once-in-century crisis,” said Luz Urrutia, CEO, Opportunity Fund. “We have to decide what we want our Main Streets to look like when this is over, and we must act decisively to keep small businesses alive and ready to rebuild.”

While it may seem like a simple contribution, Donation at Checkout translates to much needed support. And thanks to Levi’s® and Dockers®, it’s never been easier to make every cent count.
