Following the Feb. 13 resignation of Jen Sey, executive vice president and Levi’s® brand president, Levi Strauss & Co. (LS&Co.) is naming Seth Ellison, executive vice president and chief commercial officer, as the Levi’s® brand president on an interim basis as of today.

Seth will take on the interim role in addition to his commercial duties, and members of the company’s Global Brand Leadership Team (GBLT) will report to him. We are now initiating a search for a new Levi’s® brand president, an opportunity to lead one of the world’s best-known and most respected consumer brands.

“We’re fortunate to have executives like Seth, Chief Product Officer Karyn Hillman and the GBLT with such deep tenure and relationships across the company and the industry who are well positioned to ensure that we continue to execute against our winning brand strategy,” Chip Bergh, LS&Co. president and CEO, shared with employees today.

“The Levi’s® brand is the strongest it has been in decades, and that is a testament to the strength of our leaders and teams throughout the brand organization and across LS&Co.,” Chip added. “I have total confidence in our talented teams as we manage this transition.”
