LS&Co. Recognized as Forbes Best Employer for Diversity

LS&Co. is proud to be recognized by Forbes as one of America’s Best Employers for Diversity 2023. Employers were selected based on a survey of approximately 45,000 U.S. employees working for companies with a minimum of 1,000 employees. The evaluation was based on three criteria: 

  • Direct Recommendations: Employees were asked to give their opinions on a series of statements regarding age, gender, ethnicity, disability, LGBTQIA+ issues and general diversity in their current workplace. 
  • Indirect Recommendations: Participants were also given the chance to evaluate other employers in their respective industries that stand out either positively or negatively regarding DE&I.  
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Extensive research was carried out to evaluate how companies fared across a range of diversity-related best practices. These included things like the presence of employee resource groups (ERGs) within the company, the publication of DE&I data and the share of women in board and executive positions. 

Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion  

We’ve stayed true to our promise and are doing what we said we would to advance equality at LS&Co. through our hiring, retention and promotion practices. Throughout 2022, we worked together to execute our globally inclusive strategy and invest in our DE&I capabilities and infrastructure — and we’re continuing to work hard to ensure our workforce reflects the makeup of the communities we work in and serve.   

Our progress is meaningful, strategic and aligned with our values, which is both a testament to our authenticity and critical to our ability to achieve real and sustainable positive impact.
