Levi Strauss & Co. is proud to take a stand against harmful misconceptions on this International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT). Established in 2004, IDAHOBIT aims to raise awareness of the violence and discrimination faced by individuals with diverse sexual orientations, gender identities or expressions, and sex characteristics.
“Today, we pause to deeply contemplate the persistent challenges and pervasive discrimination endured by the LGBTQIA+ community worldwide. It is a solemn reminder that we must collectively and individually rally for justice and relentlessly advocate for equality,” said Gareth Whalley, head of diversity, equity and inclusion, Europe.
