As the Year of the Rabbit comes to a close, Levi’s® is ushering in the Year of the Dragon with the brand’s latest Lunar New Year collection.
Playing on the concept of jiē lóng — 接 jiē means welcome and 龙 lóng means dragon — the collection includes an array of denim tops and bottoms branded with a custom leather back patch featuring dragon artwork and gold lettering as well as a special Red Tab on the pocket. Nods to the Year of the Dragon are woven throughout the collection, from contrast color stitching to gold eyelets and shanks, along with specially designed papercut graphics.
The Levi’s® Lunar New Year collection features a range of denim bottoms for men, including the 512TM Slim Taper, the 502 TM Taper in an indigo wash and the 568 TM Stay Loose Carpenter. Women’s bottoms include the High Rise Boyfriend jeans, offered in Selvedge denim and a lighter indigo wash, and the Pleated Baggy that pairs with a Collarless Trucker in the same rinse. There is also a Gold Selvedge 501® jean for both men and women. Baggy Overalls and a matching 90s Sherpa Trucker for women, and a dark rinse Relaxed Fit Trucker and Jackson Worker denim overshirt for men round out the denim offerings.
Outside of denim, the Levi’s® Lunar New Year collection offers an extensive range of tees for men and women as well as tops and a hoodie, all featuring the brand’s dragon-inspired logo. A range of dragon-themed accessories add the finishing touches to the collection, including a knit scarf, dark-wash denim bucket hat and denim tote.
