What did you do before joining LS&Co.?
I’ve had the privilege of growing my career at global retailers in both the luxury and lifestyle sectors over the past 20+ years. Most recently, I was chief commercial officer at Burberry, where I led global commercial operations, including a network of more than 400 stores worldwide. I’m deeply passionate about driving world-class consumer experiences anywhere fans interact with a brand, and I’m excited and honored to join the talented team at LS&Co. and help continue the work that’s already underway.
What attracted you to LS&Co.?
My answer is probably similar to that of many of our colleagues — and I think that’s actually a powerful thing. For me, I was drawn to the company’s incredible heritage and enduring values, the amazing talent of our teams and the strategies that are already in place to help us achieve our ambitions of being a world-class retailer and the world’s definitive denim lifestyle brand. Levi’s® is a beloved brand, and the idea of contributing to its next chapter of growth is an exciting prospect.
What does success look like in your job?
At a high level, success in my job is about enabling our ambition to become a $10 billion company and a best-in-class retailer. It’s made possible by incredible teamwork. How we get there will require us to focus relentlessly on the daily opportunities, while staying laser-focused on our long-term goals — or what we refer to as the telescope and microscope approach at LS&Co. I’m very energized by the opportunity ahead!
If you were given a boat, what would you name it?
Kai, which means water in Hawaiian. It’s also my daughter’s middle name.
What is your favorite sports team?
I’m originally from Rome and a forever AS Roma football fan.
